On November 26, 2021, the Talent Department of the Municipal Organization Department led relevant departments of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau to visit Huangtu Pharmaceutical (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. for investigation. Huangtu Pharmaceutical, as an industrial internet enterprise in the pharmaceutical services field, focuses on clinical research and chronic disease management. It is operated by three companies: Huangtu Beijing focuses on FSP business for digital talent docking; Totrial Tianjin is a key digital research hospital project introduced by Wuqing District; Totrial Wuxi relies on digital database construction and task splitting technology to create an online medical task outsourcing platform. The enterprise is committed to building a collaborative ecosystem among sponsors, research centers, and CROs, promoting research digitization and online data exchange, assisting the growth of second- and third-tier clinical research institutions, and planning to achieve structured data collection and transmission in the future. It currently holds multiple software copyrights and patents.
During the investigation, Duan Zhongcheng was awarded the Wuxi "Taihu Lake Talent Plan" entrepreneurial leading talent certificate, and his development plan was affirmed by leaders.
