Totrial Participated Research Project | Yunnan Baiyao Qixuekang Oral Liquid Clinical Research Conclusion Meeting Successfully Held in Beijing

Recently, the clinical research conclusion meeting on "Exploring the Efficacy and Safety of Qixuekang Oral Liquid for Patients with Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis Syndrome Exhibiting Prolonged Menstruation and Scanty Menstruation" was held in Beijing. Totrial, as the trial executor, had its project team report on the trial completion in detail.
This study was initiated by Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Capital Medical University (a municipal tertiary first-class TCM hospital). Professor Teng Xiuxiang, Director of the Gynecology Department at Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (academic successor of a master of traditional Chinese medicine), served as the principal investigator. The trial results showed that Qixuekang Oral Liquid had good safety and significantly improved scanty menstruation caused by qi deficiency and blood stasis: menstrual volume recovery in the experimental group was better than that in the control group (P<0.05), the symptom effective rate reached 72.73% (45.64% in the control group, P<0.05), and it effectively alleviated symptoms such as mental fatigue and pale complexion (difference in TCM syndrome scores P<0.01).
